The kick off meeting of the strategic partnership (ERASMUS + key action 2) INTERCULTURALITY – MOBILITY took place on October 20th and 21st in Eurocircle office.
Eurocircle is coordinating this two-year project (01/10/2016 to 30/09/2016), which brings together 5 European partners CESAT and ERIFO in Italy, MMC from Cyprus and RINOVA & EAL Academy in England. The main objective of the project is to support and foster the social inclusion and integration of young adults / ethnic / migrant communities / marginalized groups through mobility programs. This objective will be achieved through the development and validation of an intercultural competence framework for Vocational and Educational Training Providers to improve the delivery of mobility programs in the EU. Four tangible results are expected at the end of the project: – A comparative study of the situation in each partner country concerning socio-economic data of young people and access to vocational training. – A modular and innovative training dedicated to youth professionals and VET providers. – A guide to improve the recognition at European level of non-formal education in a youth career path to professional integration. – A second guide focusing on intercultural skills to be developed / acquired for VET providers. The second partners meeting will take place in June 2017 in England. The results of the comparative study will be presented as well as the project site (available online from January 2017).
